ive seen a handful pass through the exchange over the pass 2-3weeks... theres also a couple on the bay :)

I mostly stick to knifeworks and such. :P They have the 550 on there which is why I was looking. Honestly I want a 4-5" nice stainless defensive/edc blade but there are very few options so I figured go for another folder.

4-5" defense folders? how about the combative edge m1 or a cqc 8? 4" blades/9" OAL and both a tad over 5oz.
imo, great folders with "defensive/combative" characteristics :)

i honestly would not compare the combative edge to the overbuilt zt's... a better comparison would be the emerson cqc8 i have pictured next to it. both knives are very similar in terms of balance and how they carry. ones a titanium framelock and the other is a liner lock.
