YES!
We are starting 6 day weeks at work, so the opportunities are going to be hard to come by. I am looking for my Saturday work schedule, but can't find it at the moment.

I would love to have a gathering here, but perhaps a Saturday or Sunday "range day" followed by alcohol and grilling would be easier.

The Firestorm would look good with the 3 color grips Andy,good luck.

Being South American made it reminded me of a Llama my dad had.
It was a scaled down Govt model in 380.It wasn't chopped & stubby looking like a Commander,just scaled down for the 380.
Very cool looking little pistol.
Wish I could have gotten it before he pass away,but I think one of his step kids got it.
 
I get on a kick every now and then to buy a 1911, but so far it hasn't worked out with funds and timing. Also it's kinda hard to justify when Dad has a Colt that I'm likely to end up with. Here's his Colt and my Ky Woodsman.

I think it would look good, but looking at it, and I think my 1911 is a metric piece; it looks like the grip screws are spaced closer to the top and bottom of the grip than the original 1911.

The good thing about having custom made grips, the maker can put the screw holes wherever they are needed.;)
