True, cheetahs are the fastest animals on land. If you count birds though, the fastest animal would be the Peregrine falcon during a dive.
I will edit to say that, with technology, humans are of course faster. But, not all humans possess the technology to do so. Even if they did, not many humans have gone past 242mph (Peregrine Falcon's terminal velocity), so it's not representative of the species as a whole.
What is with the 123 & 123 .?
I think a mite or flea or something like a very small thing a ma bug is supposed to be faster than a Cheetah.!! It was in the news here a couple of weeks a go.!! It has to be the Mite as Fleas jump more than run.!! yeah ~~ 123 ticket 123
"Man" is a clever answer, but the fast cat is faster w/o technology; both of us on foot, we lose. The Peregrine Falcon is faster, but as Gooey rightly noted, its speed is in flight and not on land. I'll stick with cheetah... what's next?
