Alright - the GAW should be closed, but I gonna let it run until saturday/sunday.

Latest updates: Maximilian is born today, he weighs 4040 grams ~ 8 pounds and a size of about half a metre.





My first child and .... oh man - I´m still stunned!!

It's the only picture of a newborn with a knife next to it I've ever seen.
I'm in since it's not to late.
 
I saw the knife but didn't realize it's unusual. Gives the kid scale.

Wow, 8lbs. 14 oz. is a good sized baby, and at half a metre, he's tall. Hope wife and baby are doing well. Take your sleep while you still can.

This child will bring emotions stronger and more intense than almost anything else you've ever felt before. Happy Birthday Maximilian!

Ok here's my tip for newborn dads- Keep the grandparents on side(you will need them for babysitting) but have an exclusion zone. "Me time "is very important for new parents. and eeeeveryone has advice.
Its a fine line and a diplomatic minefield. You are allowed to say NO or in your case NEIN!
Hope the man cave is ship shape and fully stocked-you will need a sanctuary.Lots to look forward to.

I'll second this. Before it was you and your wife. Now you have a family. It's a subtle change, but a huge one. There will be times when you must demand what you believe to be right for your family and it might be at direct odds with your or her parents. So be it. It's your ship now sir.
