Ah, Grasshopper, you will prove yourself to be adept enough to snatch the BNIB Byrd Meadowlark 2 SS from my palm by telling me: truly, what is the sound of sharp?

(Meadowlark is factory sharpened. If you want one of my edges on it, I'll just ask that you pick up shipping charges to your address. Ships via USPS Priority to CONUS + Alaska, Hawaii only. I am unable to go to post office to deal with international shipping. Post your answer to my question in this thread; I'll pick one winner by whim.)

Truly sharp is the sound of silence (silently zipping through newsprint) ;).

"Sweetheart...what do you think constitutes a 'deep puncture wound'?...Also, I'm going to need the sewing kit."

On that note, the sound of sharp is "Honey! Can you come downstairs...and bring the super glue?"

Wayne and Garth agree with me..... "SCHWIIIINNGG!"

The sound of sharp is the different sounds made by the air moving over the blade from different angles including from the spine to over the blade edge its self. I could throw in the metaphoric quotes of this boiled down description, but I was too young and dumb to write them down when our guest speaker a knife making master came to the shop class and showed how shape, the math and sciences and spirit and skill made a great knife.

Swoosh or swish, depending on the blade shape as it cuts through the air.

The sound of sharp is "$#@%#" after asking your buddy if that is his fingertip on the work bench & he finally notices after looking...
