Giveaway Levine's Guide 4th Ed (winner chosen - Ken Erickson)

I have never been able to get a copy of Levines books as yet, so I'm in.

Very generous thread :)

Count me in as well. I'd be more excited to win this than a knife. Thanks for the chance.

After some complicated calculations…

I decided it was easier to use a random number generator instead.

Ken Erickson!

This is extremely considerate of you!. Levine's 4th is the knife-gospel and not that easily found these days.

I have my old beat up ratty and well used copy I got from Bernie many, many moons ago and she still serves me well!. However, if my number comes up as the winner in this most gracious contest, I'd be much obliged if you could send her to our very fine member here in:

Post #2 - Ken Erickson instead of myself. Ken has a real need for such good historical media documentation as his custom knives exude the perfection of the old designs of yesteryear and such a reference will be most valuable.

Best,
Anthony

While I do not participate in most give a-ways ( I have given knives but as a maker do not feel its appropriate) I would love the chance at one of these books.

Its a very nice thing your doing, and a testimony to the great community we have here in traditionals.

Ken

After reading Anthony's post, I was really hoping he would win. Well done gentlemen!!!
Thanks for the chance.

+1 Very generous of supratentorial and great gesture by Anthony.

I'm certain that Ken will make with some fantastic new patterns because of this book.

Congrats to Ken, and "good on ya" to Anthony and supratentorial.

I see many fascinating, well made historical folders in Ken's future, and with BFC's help we can all benefit from them.

A most generous giveaway! I'm in!

Oops... should have read the whole thread!

I saw in a few posts that people were looking for a copy of Levine's Guide and I managed to find a few extra used and ex library copies so I thought I'd give one away. Post here if you want to play.

I just checked BF after watching a few movies with my bride and what a tremendous surprise!

Thanks so much Jake and Anthony!

I will do my best to continue to pick out patterns from LG4 and try and recreate them to the high standards that the master cutlers from back in the day could and would do.

This community rocks!

Could there have been a better outcome than this?

Right on guys ! What an uplifting thread of generosity, kindness and just rewards.
Ken, you obviously know folders inside and out, but you will find Bernard's authoratative description and illustrations of every folder pattern very helpful and inspiring.
You are already "Hot" as a maker of fine Traditional pattern folders, but i think this book will ignite a fire in you, the result of which will be the finest Traditional folders made in over 100 years.
Great move Suprat. & Anthony ! We all will benefit greatly.

I'm with Roland. What a gift to all of us if Ken gains inspriration from Levine's guide.
Good giveaway!

Jake,

Thank You very kindly for such a grand contest!. Ken will benefit from Levine's 4th Edition like few other folks here in this, the finest knife community on the planet.. And I am in agreement with Roland that when Ken benefits with his extraordinary talent, the whole of our community is Blessed as well.

Best Always,
Anthony
