GIVEAWAY - Penny (or knife) for your thoughts -- PART II -- AWARDED

I'm a big fan of a trapper w/ skinner & spey... I was unsure at first, but have been convinced of the utility of a spey blade. Great for food prep but also lots of tasks where I don't want to worry about the point.

Thanks for the giveaway!

I really like a clip point with a secondary pen.
Thank you for your kind offer.

Regards, Tom

Spear and pen is my favorite 2 blade combo, I got used to it from my SAK's and learned to love it.

Thanks for the chance.

Since I'm a noob to traditionals, I still dont know what my favorite is. The longer clip and short pen on my rough rider actually worked for me for a year or so. Thanks to the generosity of a member here, I am in possesion of a new boker canoe. The combo on that is my current favorite.

Thanks for the chance. :)

Instead of making another post, I decided to edit this one. I have become increasingly comfortable with the GEC 92 Eureka jack. It does have a nice spear and the coping secondary is very handy. It doesn't trump my favorite combo above, but makes for a great knife. The two blade EO Boys knife is fabulous as well even though I don't have one. I may just have to scrape up enough coin to pick one of those up, or maybe a trade in the exchange.

I really like the clip wharncliffe combo. Not enough of these out there.
I like the way you think....
Mike, are you tipping your hand here?

Never been a big fan of spears really. I guess it's just a looks things, but for me I'd like a Large clip and a small Wharncliff. So sexy. Thanks for the chance.

I like to carve so I'd definitely say a wharncliffe with a pen. I haven't had a knife with a coping blade yet, but my #57's pen is excellent. :)
