BTW does anyone else know someone that watches are pointless nowadays ?
I was asked by someone why in the world I would wear a watch when I have a smartphone, I simply replied " because every man should have a watch around his wrist and a knife in his pocket " at which point they replied " Oh! " as they had just been SCHOOLED 😁

Yea, I tore it off. I rigged a different means of carrying it, you'll see it when you open the package! It mostly sat clipped to my shoulder straps on hikes in vertical carry.
 

I'm definitely loving this watch, and I don't think analog should be difficult to get used to 😉

I made myself a belt loop and am now going to edc it for a while.
What I did was took a section of truck strap for the loop then wrapped a smaller piece of webbing around that , then I I melted 2 holes through both pieces and attached them together with a large aluminum staple I made. Finally I just slipped it onto the sheath and but some bike tubing over it.
 
Well the blade of my new Mora now has some blue patina from the chicken I had for dinner and I couldn't be happier 😀
I've never had the chance to patina a fresh blade, and while it wasn't completely spotless it did have very little patina and was Fresh enough for me.
BTW I switched to the black and gray band on that watch because I have small wrists and it's a bit better for me, I will however go back to the R-W&B band this July.

The black and grey band is a 007 Spectre style band, I like that pattern a lot. The leather is probbie the most comfortable one.
