Howdy, I recently sold a franken endura made from a zdp 189 endura handle and vg10 ffg blade from my purple endura to someone with completely unreasonable expectations. Apparently the knife is "Beat the hell up" and not fit for sale at my asking price on the forums. Now that it is back in my possession, I have chosen to give it away. Its begging for use and is getting depressed in my knife case. In my opinion, this knife still has tons of life left and needs a loving home with someone who will give it the life it deserves.

The rules of this give away are simple. It is open to anyone who does not already have an endura. Feel free to include pics of knives that are truly "beat the hell up" or other entertaining images/stories in your post. I will use a random number generator to pick the winner, your post number is your entry number. One entry per person. US members only. I will pick a number on Saturday at 6:00pm

looks in good shape to me! I'm in.
My Spyderco collection doesn't have an Endurua yet. I have a Cat, Sage I, G10 Dragonfly, Tenacious, a couple of Bugs, and a Tern (Byrd).

thanks for the give away!

Long ago I purchased a rifle on gunbroker. It was described as Excellent cond and photos where not great. It shipped from Alaska and when it arrived I was furious. It had a broken stock that someone had glued and screwed back together. Ruger M77 MKII 338 win magnum. Looked like someone had grabbed it by the barrel and used it like a bat, breaking it off at the tang. I never did get resolution, they blamed shipping but I doubt USPS tried to glue the stock back on lol. Awesome of you to give a way such a nice knife!

I was actually thinking of getting my first Spyderco, maybe this one will be it. Thanks for the giveaway.

Im in! I had an endura for about 20 seconds. I got one off the forums for my dads birthday. However, i was very surprised at the quality in such an affordable folder. I wasnt sure about the handle or just the lockback in general but ive been wanting one sice i held my dads. Also, its his favorite edc. Thanks!

Well heck, your knife looks pretty good to me from those pics. I only have one Spyderco knife, a Delica in the VG-10 FFG with the original handles. It's a great knife.

Here's my "beat the hell up" knife. This is a Parker-Frost version of a Schrade 94OT that I bought new in 1979. Clearly back in those days I didn't have the proper level of respect for my pocket tools. I dropped it and lost a bolster at some point. I bent the tip using it for prying or perhaps screwdriving, and then when trying to straighten it out with some needle-nose pliers the end snapped right off. I did a bad job of reprofiling it so it has sort of a rounded off tip to it. The backspring is pretty close to dead so it has no real snap, and the liner lock has a lot of play when it's open. I don't know why I have kept it this long, except that it's actually pretty sharp and that old Schrade 1095 steel is something (when you don't break off the tip).

Hope the story and the busted up knife is of interest. :)

I'm in! I've been looking at Spyderco's, and this would be my first. Thanks for the chance!

Will update with well used pic and a funny pic tomorrow.

Not an entry

I have entered too many GAW's with no results lol

Congrats to the OP for the generosity for attempting to sell the knife prior to giving it away.

Awesome. I'm in. I do not own any SpyderCo knives at all.

I've only ever had one knife that was "beat the Hell up" and my sister wanted it for her husband. Apparently he beats her kitchen knives up, doing things with them he should have used a different blade...LOL.

Grest guveaway. I got my first Spyderco a few weeks ago ffg VG10 Delica.

Neat, light little slicer.

I'd love for give your ZDP Endura a try.

The KZII and the B11 are a bit scuffed. The b11 moved.
