I'll toss my hat in the ring.
Right now the only spyderco I've ever handled, is the Spyderco bug (that's right, not the ladybug/manbug... just "bug") that I was gifted a while back. But I feel for some reason that perhaps its 3Cr13Mov isn't quite the best example of what Spyderco is known for... I'd love to give the Endura a shot.
Also, I've been entering lots of these GAW's as a way to find some cheap used knives to give as prizes/rewards for the scouts I work with that show excellent skills in an area. I figure this blade will likely end up in that group no matter which way I look at it. So its a win-win.
Sadly, I don't feel that I have any blades that are "beat up". Its not that I keep amazingly good care of my gear, its just that I really don't use most things that hard. I have some fixed blades that I beat on pretty good (Beckers), but don't feel that's abuse for them. I have some older beat up folders, but those are all from my childhood (first scout knife...etc), or are inherited knives (last mementos of those no longer with us), and so they don't get used at all really. I work a desk job, so, my folders do basically nothing (slice apples, open packages, etc).
But, because this thread needs more photos, here is my most "beat up" fixed blade. It was stripped right before this photo was taken, and now that the coating is off, it kind of doesn't really seem to look any different, even 3 years later...
Anyway, thanks for the giveaway
