Hello all,

I just thought I'd introduce myself to the BF community. I've been a member for a few months now under another name that I'm keeping for my private dealings, but just opened a service provider account to offer my knife sharpening service.

I'd also like to do a small giveaway. Free sharpening of one or two knives for 10 lucky members. I only ask that you have some form of paid membership and cover shipping charges both ways.

I use a Wicked Edge Pro system for most sharpening jobs and will bring the edge up to a full mirror polish. Recurve and tanto are fine, but be aware that extreme variances in grind angle will result in variances in the sharpening angle. Reprofiling and light chip repair also welcome.

For the drawing:
Make sure you're OK with the criteria listed above and post a simple "I'm in." Along with the knife or pair of knives you'd like sharpened.

Drawing will happen at 5pm CST on July 4th.

I have a manix that vexed me and my sharpening skills or lack thereof.

This is a friend's Kershaw Emerson CQC-5K. Can't say I'm super fond of the knife, but at least now it's my kind of sharp.

Cold Steel Voyager Tanto is not as sharp anymore.
 
I'm in, this is a wonderful thing you are doing.
I have an EnZo Birk 75 that could use a nicer edge than I can usually get with my sharpmaker.
 
I'm in, I have a microtech troodon that has vexed me in the sharpening department since I got it as well as my manix s110v that could use a touching up my someone with better equipment than me.

Ah, yes, the Troodon can be a bit of a pain. Really any DE OTF for that matter. No worries though, glad to do it. Good luck.
 
I would like to enter. I have a Global Chef knife that needs a lot of love. My wife has brutal with the edge. It needs some help.
