Town of Malden hit pretty hard.

MALDEN, Wash. -- The town of Malden in Whitman County suffered extensive damage due to a raging wildfire -- one of many that burned across Eastern Washington Monday.

According to the Whitman County Sheriff, around 300 people live in Malden and 70% of the homes have burned to the ground, while the post office and City Hall have been destroyed as well.

Pullman Radio News reporter Evan Ellis toured the town and told KOMO News he can’t remember damage this catastrophic in two decades.

Yes, Reports of dark sedan the day the fires started. Havent heard all of it but I did hear someone was apprehended. All this crap going on now days and this kind of activity pops up.
