I may only have 3 Ka-bar products, never enough money lol. But since I bought my 1211 in 2009. It's only been replaced by a Ka-bar bk7 and bk2. It's Ka-bar time, all the time. Your customer service sold me on your knives, very few have your record and customer loyalty. Not to mention, I got more questions about my 1211. Than all my knives before, combined.
So yes, I'm in for a hopeful win. As always, KA-BAR ROCKS!
Sorry for the edit, but I'm reminded of a story. When I was carrying my 1211 on a daily basis. My girlfriend and I stopped at a gas station. She went inside for some gas. I was stretching my legs and having a smoke next to the car. Well there was this guy standing by a mini van. And he looks like he is looking for someone. Then I see his kid hop out, and there are just standing there. After about another two minutes the guy approaches me, and says. I feel really embarrassed about this, (and pulls out his military ID)but I'm stranded with no gas or money. And I just need to make home. I realized he must have seen my Ka-bar. And thought I was military also. And he was hoping for a favor. I helped him with the only money to my name. My last two dollar bill, tucked away in my wallet. I know it wasn't much, but I'm glad I got to help someone who has done for us. I did ask him why he approached me? He said, " It looked like you were wearing a Ka-bar. You can disqualify for the sappy story If you wish. But I had to share it.
