Matt, you are ten feet tall! What a good thing you did! I know soooooo many more good dogs than I know people.

Thanks to all who have posted in this thread, it's been a joy to read. I'm thankful as well --- for so much... As it pertains to knives, I've made some incredible friendships this year, and deepened many others. I'm consistently and pleasantly surprised at what a wonderful community I've found. Goodness and generosity are hallmarks around here, and I'm glad to be a part. :)
 
I think I might have my first custom knife order placed before the end of the year, waiting to iron out some details.
 
Although I had an "annee sans" when it comes to buying knives I have much to be thankful for. My 9 year old boy forged his first blade and my 16 year old daughter started her (expensive) college education (one of the reasons I have a dry spell when it comes to knives LOL). I'm fortunate to have some really great friends in the knife community who helped me solve a difficult situation. Furthermore I enjoy the discussions and the knives on the forums.
