I'm still not convinced I'm not an idiot. Bought a Talwar in AUS8 a few years ago and I found the handle just a bit cramped. I hated to get rid of it, as there was so much about the knife that I liked, but I eventually gifted it to a friend.

Then last night I saw BladeHQ had some LE Talwars in coyote tan and OD green up for less than $60.

I found myself physically unable to pass up that deal, so I've got a new Talwar winging my way. Maybe this time I'll try modding the handle a bit.
 
Oh man, that's a smoking deal. Hopefully you'll like your new one better. I must have the exact same hand size as AD because the Talwar fits my hand "like a glove", as someone once said.
 
Bought a 4" Talwar and it was too small for my hand. Sold it and bought the 5", good to go.
 
I love the Talwar. I have the LG, XLG in Aus 8. I have small-medium hands. I am not a fan of the big thumb plate, I don't feel comfortable with knives that open as you are pulling them out of you pocket by a lanyard. These prices are pretty unbelievable, but the black paint is an immediate show-stopper for me. If they were satin, I would get one of each, today!

Dagnabitt!! Always come across deals when im broke. Fortunately there's always a good deal on Cold Steel folders somewhere.
 
I really like how these Talwars look. If I didn't already have one, I'd be jumping on it. I have small hands, so the handle fits me very well.
 
I went and ordered one in OD G-10, for under 60 bucks this is a nice deal.
The only other knife I have similar is a Spyderco Persian and I haven't carried that in a long while.
 
Thanks for the heads up on this deal. I got me a coyote tan coming. Love this knife. I have medium sized hand so the fit is perfect. The knife is totally worth modding the handle a little bit to make it fit your ginormous hands.

Mine arrived today after a few USPS hiccups and it's much more comfortable! I don't have even a fraction of an inch to spare, but it now works for me in a variety of different grips! Damn glad I took the chance on this one.
 
Gift from a friend, nice surprise for the day. This thing is a beast. Awesome blade grind, fits my hand just right. Definitely not something I would consider a practical edc but I will still be carrying it even if it is weak side. I will probably end up smoothing out the G10 some. Looking at it has me wondering about a Talwar blade in a Recon handle...





 
Got the same deal as the Op on blade hq. Mine arrived and I see where he's coming from. It's a fine knife and cold steel has stepped their game up from the last knives I bought from them.

That being said I got the talwar to rotate with an emerson persian. Hands a little cramped and I could see it not being comfortable for extended use. Really liking how your hand is locked in and it does give some confidence.

Also first tri ad lock I've owned that didn't have the slightest amount of play . Action is smoother on these new ones too. Good knife for the money I haft to say.
