I'm sure it is just the light, but they look bead blasted in most of those photos.

That is why I call it the frosty satin.:thumbup: Under the polished surface is the bright frosty sparkle. It is my current favorite finish because it holds up very well to use and hides most minor scratches. Bead blast is more greyish in color and much duller.
 
That's a lovely finish on those blades Ban....I have some Satin blades that I want to take the glare off for users in a military role...any tips how best to do a simple D/C finish?
Something I can easily top up myself ?
