Does anyone have contact info for Gladstone Mfg. co for their pouch sheaths. They make what appears to be a very good quality, double stitched "universal fit" line of pouch sheathes but their web site, contact info, etc. is retarded. I'd go with one of the custom makers here but I just don't like sending knives off for weeks.

No idea, but if you are expressing some doubts now then it stands to reason you'd be better off using a custom maker from here to make what you want. There is shortage of talented and honorable sheathmakers here. Despite the minor inconvenience of sending a knife in to be properly fitted. That is the difference between custom and "universal" fit. I'd rather have a custom sheath made over a universal one everytime.

Bedrock, I am NOT soliciting an order from you. My turn around time for custom sheath is, was and will remain about 48 hours, sometimes less, from the receipt of the knife in my shop. With rare exceptions (such as just after The Blade Show and other major shows) I have maintained that delivery schedule for the past 8 or 9 years. My sheaths are not cheap, but they are pretty darned good.

There are several very good makers who are members here who also have a rather speedy turn around time.

Good Luck

Paul
