Glass Breaker Pros & Cons?

If the answer to this is "yes", then my mind is made up: Does the RC-4 Orange/OD (serrated) have the rounded pommel? (The better to hammer with)

From the 2 user photos of RC-4 Orange that I could find here it looks like the answer is yes.

kgd, I notice in your excellent photo on the first page your RC-4 pommel has a sharpened appearance, and your post calls it a "modified" pommel. Can you go into that a bit, because I got an email from Mike this morning that "all RC4 knives have rounded pommel."

Now, I'm pretty much mind made up that my buys will be RC-3 Mil and RC-4 Orange/OD (both with partial serrations), the RC-4 having the standard rounded pommel to use for minor hammering needs, but I'd love to hear about your "modified" pommel: who, how, why, etc.

We do not make an RC-4 with a pointed pommel. We make the RC-3 with either the pointed pommel or rounded pommel.
