I think your choice of the SAK is very realistic as well.

My Extrema Ratio Golem and Rukus 610. The ER for chopping down just about anything and can also be used as a spear. And as for the Rukus well no explanation needed for that one.:)

Well, probably my Swiss Spirit multitool or Leatherman Surge first... I also have one of those larger swiss army knives with the long locking main blade and a saw blade, that would be great too...

As to a single blade folder... you want bombproof and able to perform a variety of tasks... so maybe the Skirmish. It covers fighting to skinning... Maybe the Willumsen Dark Angel, because it's so damn sturdy, but it's more limited than the Skirmish in the variety of tasks it can accomplish well. Or a Sebenza. You want reliable. If you really need a field expedient weapon, you can cut a good stick or staff and that will be better than a 4 inch knife any day.
 
I think a sturdy knife shaped more or less like a pry bar for forcing open the doors at Wal Mart:rolleyes:
