• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Global Knives

I haven't used them myself, yet

Not cooking, but there was a big thread in rec.knives newsgroup & surprisingly many agreed that that's the best choice for the kitchen. Second was Wustoff trident, then if I am not mistaken Sabateur? Henkels got less attractive comments, like "they're riding on their name", "increasing numbers & decreasing quality" etc...
here's one of the places http://www.ultimatechefstore.com/globknivcomv.html

Fred,
I use Global knives,as well as several other makes, they are very well made, come very sharp out of the box and seem to hold an edge forever,I would highly reccomend them.

Has anyone used Global kitchen knives? If so, how do they perform. Anyone know a distributor with cheap prices?

Thanks,
