Glock 43??

How do you like the Shieldarms mags?

I've got a few of them and have had a couple fail to feeds on the last round of two of them. I've only put 124gr through them, maybe try 115gr next?

Monofletch Monofletch Have you had a chance to take it to the range yet?

Havnet shot with them yet due to covid so I'm still using oem mags for carry. One thing I don't like is how easy the mags eject when you start pressing the mag release. It feels like the mags are only holding on by a hair and when I barely put any pressure on the release they fall. I spoke with sheild about it and they said they're working on a modified release for people with the issue I described. I am already using their metal release by the way.

Once the ranges open I'll get around to function testing them. I want to like them but in their present state they leave me feeling uneasy with the releasing issue. They just drop way too damn easy.

As far as your issue though, did you put in the +10% power springs? Shield sells them separately but they recommend using them if your having issues feeding. I don't know why they didn't just include them to begin with. I put them in mine and its still easy enough to load all 15 rounds. Try that.

not yet! I am itching. My son bought a huge dry box of ammo for us too. 2000 rounds or so.

Thank you. I dont have the +10% springs in them. Ordered them yesterday, I think they may work out well.

I have their metal release in as well. I haven't had the same issue as you, opposite almost. They weren't dropping free for me at all. Had to push the button and yank them out. I may have had my finger ever so slightly covering the other end upon release and they just didn't drop. It wasn't everytime either, kind of weird. I'll spend some time with them and figure it out. The regular glock mags have all been perfect in the gun. Drop free and no failures. 15 rounds would be nice in that package, but 10 ain't so bad either.

I hope you get to the range soon!

You are gonna like your 43! I've got one and I carry it often both CCW and open carry on the ranch. I'm not a Glock guy per se but I've found it very rugged and dependable and it shrugs off the dirt, dust, blood and mud of cowboying.

Its light and small and carries real well and is out of the way when doing all our work that needs doing:

Need to CCW I just untuck my shirt and it goes away. I always carry strong side OWB.

Wearing it this past Sat. Spotting squirrels for my bro:
