Glock Field knife

What are they made out of? I know they're not tennifer coated since one of mine is about 90% definished but they seem to be solid performers in every other aspect.
 
This knife has been discussed here many times. I suggest doing a search.

Sorry for the short answer but they were're intended to be used as bayonets and are poor knives.
