I have a rifle that will shoot less than .4 inches at 100 yards with factory ammo and a telescopic sight. I can shoot it off-hand at that distance and keep it inside a few inches. I'd have a hard time doing that at an extra 50 yards. I can't imagine anyone doing it with a combat handgun and night sights. Sorry but I'd have to see it to believe it.
I don't even really use the night sights. I point shoot. I feel where the bullet is going. I haven't shot too many rifles. I am better with a handgun. There is a redneck dude on YouTube who thinks he is aiming and hitting a 4'x4' target at 352 yards with his 10mm. I bet he is instinctively point shooting, only picking up the front sight with his peripheral vision.
