I won't touch anything associated with Acme-United.
I had a phone and email dialog going with them for a time, back in 2009. They were really building up the product, selling it hard, talking about all the great things they were going to do with the Camillus brand - especially the domestically produced products.
Funny thing is, all of a sudden, I never heard from them again. Zip. Zilch. Nada.
And everything I've seen for the last two years has been China-made. I don't mind imports at all, and I understand bringing an import to market at first to be competitive, but to be told (on the phone) about how much effort they were going to put into domestic production, and to see nothing at all in that direction, and then no answers to my emails, etc., I'm done with them.
Besides there are still tons of good ol' REAL Camillus knives out there. And I buy them when I can.
