Glow In the Dark 0560

I got a hold of him through email and was able to make a deal with him on 2 scales for each of my favorite knives.
I'll show the pics once I get the scales for the 0560.
I'll even post the ones on my Chokwe.
Not sure which scale I want my ZT to wear first. He's about to have some fancy pants. :D
 
Can anyone comment on the texture/feel of these scales? Do they feel smooth and hard like the GITD Manix 2? Or do they have more of a G10-like texture? Some of his work look amazingly cool :thumbup:

They feel smooth like the GITD Manix 2 but the texture helps with grip. They are not soft at all. I really like the feel of them and they are the same thickness as the G10 scales. Last night I was playing with them and they glow extremely bright when first charged and I could still see them glowing when I woke up (6+ Hours later)

I have a couple different krypto-glow in the dark scales. Its just an added custom feature that personalizes the knife, awesome! Regardless if you actually use it or need it, its still pretty cool, they do glow for a very long time. It makes it easy to find at night. Its not really flashlight bright unless fully charged. Might be a deterrent to some tactical folks, but you could always put it in a pocket if need be.

I hope Dan makes more GID scales for Kershaw's/ZT's.

He is working on them. I know he has a bunch of custom orders lined up at the moment because someone keeps posting pictures and giving out his info. ;)

Dan has a new knife coming out that he designed, looks interesting.

You are getting a lot of people asking for his info, you should just out it on your member page as a message to save yourself time.

I am glad you are happy with his work and it seems others are very interested also.
