Late last night I went outside and was startled to see a bunch of tiny little lights scattered amongst the bush out the back of my place. I thought I was seeing things at first and couldn't quite work out what I was looking at from my deck. So tonight, I trudged off into the dark humid night and discovered these awesome little things!

How big are they? We had some here a few years ago, but they were small, less than an inch across. They didn't glow as bright as those.

Omphalotus olearius, commonly known as the jack-o'-lantern mushroom, is a poisonous orange gilled mushroom. A few year's back I found a rotten tree that had the jack-o-lantern mushrooms mycelium completely colonized through out or so it mage the tree glow.
Those are great pictures you got very cool

Nice! But now my kids think we should add them to our garden. Not too sure about that...

Great pics Rob !!!!!! I would have just assumed they were a bunch of glowing eyes looking at me from the bush and put a few shots out there to scare those little daemon feckers off !!! ;) ;)
