glowing handles

Has anybody knives with luminiscent handles or lanyards?
Makes it easy to find a knife in the dark.

Wichard makes sailors knives that glow in the dark.

I got the SAKs for myself and the kids. The biggest problems with the whole idea is that the knives need to be "charged up" during the day in order to glow decently at night. Most of the time these knives are stowed in a bag or pocket - away from the light.

Ken, I bet if you shine an ultraviolet light on them for a minute or so, it will charge them up nicely.

They're making tritium (radioactive) pieces for customs now. DDR has a couple and Strider has one on TAD gear but not for sale. Definitely will not have to be charged up.
