I bet something will work! CA is supposed to work the best, I have had good luck with the stall mat and G-Flex and the Barge Cement was so sticky it wasn't even funny.

I'll grind them tomorrow or the next day when the epoxy is cured. :D

I saw the results on that thread, great job! How do the glues hold up when wet?

I was thinking I should have tried something else! :D That would have been a great idea. I'm going to go with the G-Flex for sure and since it was originally made for boat repair it is certainly waterproof. You can even use it under water and for plastic bonding which is tough to do with an epoxy. Just keep it out of the dishwasher, lol...

For the next glue test we will see what a bear eating the test subjects will do since they are in my trash and he is sure to get them!

Torture test <--- This is cool...

I personally have tried to remove 2 sets of scales and no amount of hammering (22oz framing hammer!) would get them to budge. I put them in the freezer overnight and still nothing. This was after drilling the pins all the way out! Finally I was able to remove them by using a blow torch on the scales, it finally broke down the glue enough in a small spot to get a utility knife blade between them and after about 2 hours of knocking the utility blade between the scales and metal I was able to remove them. Both times it was an all day affair. (makes me happy! :D )

nice. we have a winner! cept the bear. he might need some pepto afterwards.

I had to run him off last night, he was trying to sample the G10.
