gluiong grinding belts

Yesterday I found a bag of 15 3M grinding belts which I inadvertently left in my unheated shop all winter. When I examined them the butt joint came loose. Can these be safely reglued? If so, what type of glue should I use? Thanks for any help/advice you can give. Malinkalauran

The answer is - NO. The glue used is special stuff.

You may be able to send them back to 3M and get them re-glued ( or they may just send you new belts). Give their customer service dept. a call.
