BMW: I agree that for the most part, there are no new knife concepts, only new knife combinations. As such, I think you'll agree that while Ken's handle has probably existed somewhere in the annals of history, such a handle on a khukuri is rather new.
But your point is very well made - is the khukuri blade shape "original?" No. But does the Nepali khukuri totally resemble the kopis? No.
