Speaking of knifeshow weekend, if you're in southern California this Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, drop by the Blade Show West at the Doubletree Hotel in Costa Mesa (Bristol offramp from the 405 freeway, a block south of the freeway), and drop by table H1 and say hi to me and/or The Wife (Sat.-Sun.) and/or our friend who's helping watch the table on Friday.

And let's get this crazy mutant "lame-donkey" of a thread up to 25 pages and 600 posts so we can declare victory (over what????) and lock it up securely for posterity to see and be amazed.
