IMHO, the strategy was a little different tonight. Unless you care about low # bragging rights, then the timing of your email was likely not terribly critical. In other 'Ganzas there are, frequently, a small number of a given blade available. Speed may well be of the essence in those cases. Tonght we had a single blade, with orders open for 10 DAYS, or until some (unknown) limit was reached. Hard for me to believe that that number could be reached in mere minutes.

Guess you didn't know about my order for 1500 of them that went in at 9:46... :D
 
the other thing that was kinda confusing is email orders can only be sent between 9&10pm every day for the 10 days? or could you send and email any time during the 10 days?

I think the email is just a follow up to provide the contact info. Doing it all on here keeps it clear and no dispute about who was first. I really don't think the way you are saying it is what the instructions meant. I bothered to read it carefully several times, and the emails at 9:55 were a back up emergency plan, but we all know that things here on blade forums are done in a transparent way where there is no question about who is first. Kind of like, when you post that user for sale, and five people say "I'll take it", but only the first one gets it.... Give it up, Jaxx, and accept your fate.... :-)

funny, i've been under the impression that the email was the *only* way to place an order. i've read the instructions a few times too. a lot of info there and maybe i missed it but i don't think it says to post in the GO! or any other thread to save a place. correct me if i'm wrong.

I'm not Jerry, but...to clarify, the order of posts here doesn't count. It is the order of which EMAILS are received by BUSSE at the 2 email addresses provided after Jerry posts the GO thread. That is how it has always been. Sorry to be the one to tell ya.
