Wow, I'm an idiot. I sent three seperate emails from 3 different accounts I have. One to each respective address Jerry posted. It never even occured to me to send 1 emai adressed to all 3.

Guess I screwed myself.:confused:

I don't think you screwed yourself, Dan. You were in fast. I think it's all going to boil down to how many knives are available. If there's a healthy number a lot of us may score. If there are only a few there will be a LOT of people who barely missed out.

Well, we'll see. Here's to hoping. :thumbup: I tend to overthink things sometimes, and when Jerry posted "Send an email to all three addresses", I did. :p

I'm guessing there's an almost unlimited number of these. Didja notice how Jerry said they're "wrapping up a productiuon run" won't even be done making them for another 30-45 days? I think Jerry drank the tax money, and this is his way of making it back before April 15.

Yes... all emails before the go button are 'disqualified'.
He got ONE for sure... I fired one off at 10:02 EDT... I had managed to get the Forum page to load a few times a few minutes before 10, and then back to the busy server message, so I figured why not, because if I got through... I figured that HE could've too. LOL :) ...So that'll be one. :D

I have no idea if I was in time or not.

But right now I’m listening to Stanley Turrentien “Sugar” and Freddie Hubbard “Red Clay” and drinking Scotch… so I can’t see how life could get any better:thumbup: :cool:
 
This server business blows chunks... What does it run to upgrade or rent space? Anyhow, I sent an email off 5 minutes after the GOGOGO post... but i was really focusing in on the bussecombat page (which never got a gogogo post). =(

Anyhow, i hope i score, these look like some really slick blades, and i do not have a meaner street or active duty yet.

Yes this server blows, but the busse site wouldn't load either. I wonder if that's just what happens no matter how much bandwidth the server has.

He said he would post to whichever he could get onto first, right?

I hope I didn't screw myself by sending in mutiple requests. Anyone know how that works. I was just so, like, uuuuhhhh. I had the emails written at like 6 pm with multiple tabs opened. When I saw go I tried to send all three but it said "problem, your email has not been sent. I immediately created a new one pasting the info in and cc'ing to get all three out in one email. BUT, then I went back and sent the 3 individuals I was trying to send originially (that's when all the "uuuuhhhh" was going on in my brain). Anyone know if I negated my request by sending in two?
 
this server does not blow. It runs faster than any other knife forum in existence.

When you consider that you have several hundred people refreshing over and over, and maybe a thousand more also trying to get on and view the forums, what do you expect?
 
The web server itself was fine. It throttled itself as the database server probably couldn't keep up...

OOPPsy! I didn't mean to offend with that comment. I was agreed with the previous comment. I should have said it blew having to refresh for 94 minutes. We can all agree on that, right?:o
