• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Are these considered "Big Folders"? (*I don't know.)

Considering that I pretty regularly have a Buck 110 Slim Select (*~3 ozs) or Demko 20.5 Sharkfoot (*~4 ozs) in pocket, they are for me...

The OP mentioned 4" blade length as a starting point, tempering that down 3.875" so as not to quibble over a few mm, but we've certainly had a few just under that are still reasonably considered "Big Folders" like your 0308. At 4" your Cold Steel is good to go as well. Nice blade on that SR1 too.

Love that SR1 👍

Thanks, guys.

Yeah, I'm pretty-much in love with that SR1 myself. It has become my late night "walk the dog" and "travel to the convenience store for a can of Cope" folder. It's like a fixie with a pivot/hinge.

Sorry I d!cked-up this thread last night. Mea culpa. I knew there was a reason that I hadn't posted here but may've been "under the influence" a bit. I had a shot to "show off" two of my favorite "robust" folders and took it.

*EDIT- I may have to score me a "Frenzy II" so that I can rightfully post here.
