Case XX WR POCKET KNIFE JIGGED BUFFALO HORN FOLDING HUNTER W/SHEATH, ITEM 65030, LENGTH CLOSED 5 1/4 INCH (BH265 SS)
I've been thinking about this puppy for a while now . The jigged black horn Case knives speak to me (I mean I like 'em) .
I thought that Back Pocket would do it for me (kind of thin for my liking even though it has big slabs of horn on the sides) but I kept imagining how full / thick this Hunter is and finally just had to get it (celebrating a wage raise and LOTS of work so . . . why not . I even found one bucks off because it was used like new with the box . The box has some miles on it but the knife is pristine .
I have another Hunter in the jigged wood handle and the blades are , oddly , not polished / just gind pattern . This Buffalo Horn Hunter has nicely polished blades . It hurt me to cut off the Spay / skinner blade but I like using the handle contours of my Case knives with out a folded blade spine in the way .
Fun knife ! I love the way it looks too .
And it is heavy enough it builds muscle while you wield it .
Longtime member, lurker and admirer of BF. Found this thread recently. 710d2 is my (almost oldest) and fav EDC (I have 4 in various steels but carry the original d2). However, sometimes it seems too ....small.
It feels good to have a Millie again. I had reservations about many of the changes between the Military and Military 2, but once I had it in-hand (and in-pocket) those reservations melted away.
Father's Day gift from the Mrs and daughter with my zippo for scale.
The "little" Cold Steel folders both carry smaller and look tiny compared to their bigger siblings, but 4" of S35VN is still a lotta knife
