Our friend Dale has found so many Schrades in the land of milk and honey that the 5th wheel is hitched up and we're heading west in the morning.
Since I've done a lot of personal research on the mountain men and trappers of the 1803 - 1840 era,I really envy their seeing the mountains as it was back then. We've been in Wyoming,Montana,Idaho, and Colorado several times, but Dale says the Schrade Grand Cache is in Oregon and Washington.
I don't expect problems from the Sioux,Cheyenne,or Arapahoe;but the price of diesel ($3.15 here and climbing) and the high temperatures in the plains does make me wonder how far my SCHRADE $$ stash will take me.
It's a shame we don't have access to Schrade shipments to distributors. That would make it a little easier.
Another drawback is not being able to get on the forum every day.:thumbdn:
Hate to think how much info and discussion I'm going to miss.
You guys have a good couple months and I'll try to catch up in October.
Ron
