Go west,old man!

Dale & Max,
You fellows are embarassing me !
The wife and I sure enjoyed the hospitality shown by both of you and your wives! Thank you!
I also appreciated looking at your Schrade collections !!!
Max is sort of a fixed blade man, like Codger.or he kept his folders hidden. He lives in Chadron,NE so don't look for any Schrades in northwest Nebraska. He also owns the ranch where he was born and does some outfitting. If you're interested in hunting whitetails, muleys,or turkey;google Crow Butte Outfitters. We've visited Max and Barb before and enjoy the Pine Ridge country and their hospitality.
Dale has a lot of Schrades plus other brands, including many he's rehandled and/or made from blanks. He gave me a tour of his shop, and that was interesting and educational for me.
Dale and Allison took us to a Mexican restaurant and helped me navigate the menu. The food was very good! Of course,I ate too much.
Dale also presented me with a fine fixed blade custom that he made! I was
sort of overwelmed by that and neglected to get the pedigree of the steel and handle material.I'll post a picture as soon as I can. Thanks again,Dale !!:D
Ron

Dale,
That sneaky Ol' Ron. He did the same to me and my wife. We still don't know how he did it. I'm sure Ron was overwhelmed by your generosity of a gift. Don't know what he has for Schrades. Hope he will send me a list or some photos someday. Yes Ron, I do have folders and a nice DU set of Schrade knives that my wife gave me. Couldn't show you the whole mess, now could I. You've got to have a solid reason to get back here sometime.:D

P.S. Good to meet you Dale. I look forward to talking to you again.

Poor Ron,
He didn't get to see all of either of our collections. He didn't have a chance to see my MIB stuff. We just looked at my used knives and some of my EDCs, but we didn't even see all of those.
(I really didn't realize how many knives I had) :o It seems like a lot when you go through them one by one. :o

Dale

I'm afraid to show my wife all my knives. I know she suspects that there are too many, but she doesn't know the whole story. Some things are better left unsaid.;)
