New model! I call it the Goblin, because it reminds me of the fighter jet of the same name (anyone remember that one?) That Goblin never got past the prototype stage, but I think this one will be useful. CPM154 blade, 5 1/2" overall, Kydex sheath with Tec-Lock. I'm asking $95 with FREE shipping to the lower 48.

Thanks for looking!

I was curious about the Air Force Goblin, so here are a couple pics. I do see the resemblance, but your knife is better looking! Nice job!

The Goblin aircraft was designed as a parasite fighter that would be carried in the bomb bay of the B-36 bomber, launched when the bomber was under attack, then recovered by hooking onto a "trapeze" under the B-36 and pulled back up into the bomb bay! It just didn't work, but I thought it was a cool concept. There's some footage around of the test pilot trying to hook back up with the trapeze, and it's a real nail-biter!

That's a neat color painting of the Goblin, beau007 - I hadn't seen that one before. Thanks for posting it.

Oops - this thread is supposed to be about knives, isn't it? :o :foot:
