Haha, don't feel alone Overusemachetes guy, I'm only 15 myself. If you keep checking this forum everyday, you'll now lots about blades:).
 
Actually, the irony of this post is the similarity to some machetes on the market that are not fantasy knives:

I think that your original pic wouldn't be half bad if the blade was one long curve from guard to tip. Sorta like a big hand axe.

Word of advice. Delete that dbag statement before you get an infraction. That exact thing is what got me my one and only.
