Ordered a sheath from Eli on Christmas. Emailed Eli immediately to confirm shipping and such. He said he was shipping that week. I've yet to receive anything. Even though I've messaged him several times, still nothing. Is he having pc issues again or something else?

They have been banned from Bladeforums, so you can't be sending messages to them from here. But that should be an indication. PC issues? Yeah, that must be it...Go ahead and initiate a charge back or Paypal dispute or whatever you need to do to get your money back.

Bull snot.

Why would any member here do business with a service provider who has been banned? What has happened to common sense? So you are doing business with a banned service provider and you want answers as to why you are having issues? He was freaking banned for this crap. There are way too many good kydex benders out there to do business with a banned flake.

A quick search of Google would have revealed the same results about his business practices. It's always one thing or another with some folks, and for every new customer the same excuse is a new one on them and never gets old.

At this point I have stopped believing anything that Godspeed says... He simply ain't got his act right, and as craytab said, there are better kydex benders in the forum who deliver as promised.

It would really behoove folks to do a bit of research before handing over their money to a stranger. Either that or accept the fact that you are taking a huge risk. I mean, you are here asking about him now anyway. Why not do that before you give out your money.
 
I also had no idea he was banned, I am going through the same mess with Eli, he told me my sheath would be shipped out Feb 9th and still nothing. He won't answer any of my emails.
 
dispute on ebay.take it easy guys maybe he didnt now he was banned.not everyone does all this checking up on people.he asked are help and he is a member here just give him good advice not kickem when he is down.

People take the time to create an account and post a complaint. Why not take that same time to do quick search before you give someone you money?

This one of the main patterns we see here in the GB&U. Hopefully us pointing out this fact will help someone not make the same mistakes that these folks have.
 
I read on another thread that this is his number 480-250-1200(I haven't tried it but I read its a direct line to Eli). I also found it by doing a little googling. I ordered a sheath from him on thanksgiving and received it around the 7th or 8th of January. I am pleased with my sheath although the wait and lack of communication was annoying. He only replied to my emails when he shipped my sheath. For sure going to try Azwelke or 710 next time. Good luck
 
I have 6 sheaths from 710 and they are great. I will be doing more business with them in the future.

Good luck getting your sheaths on time. He was given enough opportunity to make things right before being banned here. Bladeforums is very tolerant in that respect, but when someone is banned, it's crystal clear that person should be avoided like plague - on and off forums.

This is no reflection of his excellent sheaths, but sadly I have decided to not do any further business with him (I do have a few of his sheaths and the quality is top notch).

He is talking about JD from 710 sheaths who is not banned here.

You are right about Godspeed though. No one should be doing business with him.
 
My experience with Godspeed was one of the worst from any dealer I've ever dealt with. Received my sheath over 4 months after I placed my order, and it did not match the description of what I ordered. It was a much cheaper sheath and was missing parts. He has no Contact page on his web site, and no email address or phone number to contact him. Please do yourself a favor and never order anything from Godspeed. You'll regret it.
