I just quenched these two .360" thick 5160 steel knives, check 'em out!

They are now in the oven for 2 long temper cycles.

I have the kwaiken/tanto almost finished up. It is so cool, I am very excited about it! I did my first hineri-maki wrap over rayskin! I usually do a hira-maki style wrap which is simpler.

hineri-maki wrap is the "standard" wrap that is popular... hira maki is a non-folded wrap I usually do.
