Going nuts!

These William Henry clip on pouches show up on EBay every now and again...I have both sizes and use them when I am out of my jeans...

This DM Bullard belt pouch works well for trappers and larger folders...

You can also find SAK pouches with clips in various sizes.

Boy do I agree ---dump those pants. Those things are dangerous.

my peanut was wedged deep in our leather sofa. The pants are flannel pajama pants (stop laughing). I think I'm going to give up trying to put slipjoints in these at the end of the day after I take my work uniform off.

Come to think of it, I never saw my Dad wear jeans. The only adult family member I recall wearing indigo denim in the 50's was my Grandfather and he was the engineer for the local railroad.

I found my peanut!!!!!

Unfortunately, I lost my stockman. Yup, same pants.

Lose the pants.

I wear khakis/chinos every day at work, and have never lost a knife out of them. Usually carry a SAK Classic or some small/med size knife.

I carry my old beat to hell and back Utica stockman, in my sweat shorts pockets when I am cutting grass in the summer time. I've never lost it. Even in my "holey" shorts.

I did eventually buy a pack of bandanna's to try instead of my handkerchief but they are HUGE compared to what I am use too. Will washing them make them fit/scrunch better in my pocket?

You can try washing them in hot water and tossing them in the drier. If their cotton, that should shrink them down a bit. Bandana's are supposed to be bigger than a hankie. A handkie is what the better half carries in her purse, a bandana is what a working man uses for a whatever rag. :D

Another plus for the bandana: you can spread it out in your lap and catch the shavings from whittling while you're carving in front of the TV, or computer, or in the car, etc. I keep one in my pocket most of the time when I'm messing around at home, but also find them a little bulky for dress pants.

I've tried to get in the habit of carrying a handkerchief every day, just like dad did (along with his pocket knife, keys, and zippo). They are cheap enough to have a bunch, and you can just throw them in the dirty clothes hamper at the end of the day. Bonus: If you come across a woman who is crying, you can offer her a hankie, and tell her to keep it. It makes a nice impression, unless you're the one that made her cry in the first place. In that case, hand her a credit card (another EDC of mine).

tried the bandanna again today, plus a Buck stockman. It came in handy to clean the bolt assembly on an m16 today after qualifying.
