Its been a fun ride, but its time for me to find greener pastures. After seven years as a bladesmith, I am calling it quits. As a result, I have a shop full of perfectly good equipment that I hope someone else can put to good use. As I am still wrapping up some loose ends, I have decided to list each item separately within this thread, with more tools added as I finish things up.

I am happy to provide any additional info that you might need that I may overlook in my descriptions, but I would prefer that you email me directly at runningbearsteel@gmail.com.

All items will need to be picked up, as I am not in a position to ship them. I live in Endwell, NY., about ten minutes west of Binghamton. I can, however, help you load your vehicle if needed.

Thanks again for all the info and support over the years,

Travis Talboys

Evenheat Kiln model KH418.
Features include solid state relays, and alarm, and the Tap II Smart Touch Controller. A MK1 Blade Furniture kit is also included.

I have used this for heat treating and tempering duties, usually in batches. The kiln remains in excellent condition. Its wired for 110v, but heats up fairly quickly, and with the Tap II app, you can monitor temps and schedule times.

Valued at $2900, not including taxes and shipping. I'm asking $2200.

165lb Peddinghaus anvil, sold through Ridgid Tools. This is a drop forged steel anvil. It features a double horn design, a 1" hardy hole, and a 7/8" pritchel hole. The anvil includes a 50lb tripod style steel base with adjustable height.

I have only slightly dressed the edges, just to break the corners. All surfaces and edges are clean and free of hammer marks. This anvil has an amazing amount of rebound, and with it siliconed to the base, there is very little ring. This has been a fantastic addition to my shop, and I'm sure it will be for yours as well.

Im asking SOLD for both the anvil and base.

I have discovered that I have an abundance of G10. I have slabs thick enough for handle scales, and large assortment of liner material, and handful of pin stock. I went through it all and based my numbers based off the prices Alpha Knife Supply is charging, minus the amount used.

The total value of the thicker stock comes to $358, the value of the liner material comes to $316, and the value of the pin stock comes to $182. This brings the total value of everything to $856. I would very much like to sell this as a single lot, and I will include shipping in the deal. I am asking $700 for the lot, shipped to your door.

*Note* The small redish block in the photo is red linen micarta. There is also a small pile of smaller, yet possibly usable pieces that included but not tallied into the price.

I know you'd like to sell it all at once but are you willing to make a deal on just the thicker pieces of G10? If so, do have some other pics?

If im understanding this correctly, I'll take all 6 bars of this 15n20 for $64.
Im sorry, I thought it was clear. Those prices are for each piece. The total for all 6 would be $202, plus whatever shipping works out to be.

That makes more sense. I thought it was a good deal. 😁

Ok. Guess I'll pass on it then.
