Going rate for a Shaker or Recruit

Hey guys... What's the current market value approximately for either an Assault Shaker, Pepper Shaker, or Police Recruit (INIF)? I'm sure the PS and PR are a little higher since they are either older or rarer. But I was just wondering. I'm in the market for any of the above and wanted to know what's a fair price so I don't get got on the open market. Thanks.
 
I pucked up an AS a couple months ago for $150. Not sure what the PR's are going for but, (i'm sure a HOG will correct me if I'm wrong) aren't those A2? As for a PS, not a clue. Never seen one for sale. Would love to get my hoofs on one someday though.

If I were to ever part with my AS, I'd expect about $150.
 
Did a little searching. I actually paid $130 for mine. Was thinking $150 for some reason :confused: The only other one recently was $185 with a factory kydex sheath and a BADASS sheath. Saw some others listed higher but, never sold. Hope this helps. Good luck on your quest. I love my AS. Great little knife :thumbup:

There were some later PRs in INFI. Had one years ago... sold it like an ass.

Yeah I want a little key chain / hide away guy. The smaller the better in my opinion.

Okay, just saw mention of an INFI PR that MORIMOTOM sold recently but, price was removed. Last one before that was an INFI PR in November that sold for $167 with a Kenny Rowe sheath. Huh, I always thought those were all A2 which is why I never picked one up. Love the design of em. Learn something new everyday :o
 
I got lucky and snagged an Assault Shaker on Ebay a few years back for $47.00 plus a few bucks for shipping :eek: :thumbup:
 
There are some good buys around on Ebay if you catch it right. I remember a certain piglet (I'll let him step forward if he wants as it looks like the old posts have been edited out) who got basically a brand new SH1 and SHBA with BIN's of like $90 and $60 respectively (can't remember the exact prices as they were edited out of the thread). Best I've managed on there was my BM-E for $350.00 for last Fall.
 
I was in the market for an Infi PR earlier this year. Missed out on 2 or 3 - just a little to slow to the trough. They were all in the $200 - $250 range. I was more than willing to pay up to $225 for a mint Infi PR. The A2 seem to go for a little less.
 
The Pepper Shakers originally went for $269 from the shop. Considering the rarity of them I would guess anywhere from $350 to $425 or so depending on whether it was a 1/4" or 3/16". That's assuming that you could find one for sale of course.
 
I have been watching assault shakers since Xmas. The last one on fleabay went for $165 mint. I bought the last one offered on the exchange used bead blasted with a custom leather sheath for $185. It is a little small for me and I am going to let it go......
 
Police Recruits, some wereA-2.

73 of them in INFI, most of those in Flat Black Finish with at least Ten in Black Crinkle Coat and Ten Factory Bead Blasted.

The INFI Police Recruit can, except for the Variants be identified by the size of the three Large holes in the Handle, the Center Hole being Larger on the INFI Knives and all three the Same size on A-2 Police Recruits.

I do not know of any A-2 Police Recruit Variants, there are a few INFI Police Recruit Variants, but the Handle holes in these are all three the same size.
My Son getting the first, a Shortened to Legal to Carry on University of California length, with a Deep Hollow Grind.

All of the Police Recruit Variants that I remember were also Bead Blasted.
 
Skeleton Key, Combat Recruit and a Bead Blast INFI Police recruit

The Skeleton Key is the Easy one to Carry as a neck knife, much Lighter in Weight.
 
YAY! I love this forum... either because of this thread or my WTB post someone offered me an Assault Shaker in great condition minus a few kydex rubs for a fair price according to some of the numbers I've seen here. And I'm takin it. Next week I'll be the proud new owner of a tiny Busse. Thanks guys.

Yes I do, however the picture I posted is one from the pictures I have stored on my computer not one I just took.


I am lazy and have not taken a new picture to post in some time.

I like the Skeleton key the best of the Busse Neck knives, I get a much Better grip on it than I do the Assault Shaker, and the Skeleton Key Weighs prolly a third or so what a Police recruit weighs(Totally Subjective folks, I have not put either knife on a scale)

LOL... No prob papathud. It's Friday anyway. Time to kick back and have a couple drinks. If you ever get bored one of these days though... ;)
 
Heres my little PR with a couple of shakers, warden, and a key. I was of the assumption that it was INFI as theres some dimples but the holes are the same size.
