Going rate for a Shaker or Recruit

Leatherman,

Hold onto that A-2 Police Recruit, I have seen at least ten to one INFI to A-2, Available for sale over the last 7 years, at least on the Internet, I see the A-2s for sale from time to time at Gun and knife Shows.

Shows are the good place to get good deals on Busse knives anymore.

YAY! I love this forum... either because of this thread or my WTB post someone offered me an Assault Shaker in great condition minus a few kydex rubs for a fair price according to some of the numbers I've seen here. And I'm takin it. Next week I'll be the proud new owner of a tiny Busse. Thanks guys.

Saw your post on the WTB and when you showed up here, I figured you were serious.

I just got back from the PO ;), it's on it's way .

I do not know of any A-2 Police Recruit Variants, there are a few INFI Police Recruit Variants, but the Handle holes in these are all three the same size.

My INFI variant was owned by Andy Prisco before his... um ...departure. I had Dwayne build me a BADASS for it. It is my most used Busse. The depth of the hollow grind makes stropping a bit of a challenge, but it stays nasty sharp with a little work on my part.

Thanks Andre, that one is one of those few permanent pieces in my collection, of which most of the keepers are A2 so its that much sweeter. :D My daughter knocked it off my bench a while back right onto the ceramic tile floor, what one once a mint PR now has a few chips in the coating. :o Lucky I didnt take a few chips outta her butt! :grumpy: :p same thing happend with my Desert BA3, it went tip down and popped a fair size chunk of coating off, the tip didnt blunt, even a little. :D

I remember making the sheath for that variant! that is one sweet knife bro! The swedge just makes the knife look so nice. :)

Dunno about the others, but I just sold a very good condition INFI PR a couple months ago for $150 I believe. It had a K. Rowe sheath.

The Police Recruit Variants stay wickedly Sharp for a Long time, I have a Daughter in-law that, Back Before She Married my Son Shaved Her Legs with a Police Recruit Variant Three times, Not just a Little, Her entire Legs.

My Son Quickly Figured out that She was a Keeper.

I think they have been married five or six years, that have a one year old Girl and another to get here in May.

Daughter In-law has at least Two Busse knives and a Rob Criswell Kantana.

No Busse's for the Babies Yet, My Son is very Disapointed.

He on the otherhand has "Many"

Gotta say... I'm excited... I think I'm a little more excited about this than I was while waiting for my SJTAC. Crazy... But all Busses are wondeful things... Just glad to be back in the elite of blade owners. You may have only have 1 Busse... or you may have 1,000. But if you have even one... it's all you need.
