There really was a lot of love in the family, Uncle. It was just everyone getting together at the same time without Darth Vader in a way that didn't make her more than usually paranoid.

That and the fact we looked suspiciously like we'd been having fun when we should instead been attending to her majesty.

It was 10 years after getting away that I figured out that 'Munchausen's by proxy' described her to a T.

Maybe that's why I used to feel so comfortable seeing clients and friends up at the Lake's Crossing unit for the Criminally Strangely Deranged. ( It also might explain why eight 38's is not enough to make me feel completely comfortable and prepared for most eventualities, and 10 38's did. (( 9mm's and 357's don't count )) ).
