Even more knives on the Exchange……ah well, have to pay for Blade.

Please read each description carefully, ask questions if needed. Prices listed include S/H/I in the lower 48, AK and HI extra. Canada is possible, we will have to discuss. Sorry, won’t ship anyplace else. Pay with USPS Money Order, the one you buy at the Post Office; or for PayPal add 3.5%.

Cash is King, but I will consider trades. Really only looking for two Busse, an EU Uncle MoFo, or a nekkid original Leaner Meaner Street. If you are going to talk trade, please plan on pics.

“I’ll take it”, posted here, takes precedence over someone else asking questions. My PM box is getting pretty full, email will be better.

Thanks for your interest, but I am not ready to drop the price that much yet. btw, it is usually considered good form here to negotiate in private.

What are the measurements for the Cultellus? Blade thickness, blade length and type of steel?

All Busse knives are made of INFI, a proprietary steel. It is not stainless, but has good corrosion resistance. Head over to the Busse forum, and read the stickies at the top for more info.

The Cultie is 8" from tip to tail, the blade is 3 1/2" in front of the handle, and ~ 3" in front of the choil. It is 0.13" thick at the ricasso. The handle is contoured, and is 0.67" at it's thickest, across the middle hollow rivet.

adding some Cultie pics for those who may not be familiar with it.

here are two bracketing a Koster Bushcraft. (Koster not for sale)

please forgive my ignorance, but is there a grind difference between the leaner and the tweaner? or is it all in the thickness?

Sent you an email on this one,

8. Tweaner Meaner Street. OD with green linen. The Porkverde. .20” thick $300

Yes, if you look at the pics closely, you can see that the Meaner is a full height flat grind, while the 'Tweaner' is a sabre grind. Either one is plenty strong.

Tweaner is NOT an official Busse model name, but there have been a lot of variants since the original Meaner and Leaner models, so somebody here coined the term Tweaner for the in-between thickness varaints.
