can yall help out on whose pretty reputable to mail order from....gonna look for a spyderco adventura and i think it might be hard to find because its new......thx/paul
 
New Graham has the Adventura. I have ordered from them via money order 4-5 times without any problems.
 
You can't go wrong with:

newgraham.com or islandtactical.com

If gotten nothing but outstanding service from both. Both have the new Spyderco for sale. Islandtactical also has a Christmas contest with some great prizes if you order before 15 Dec.

New Graham and knifeworks are two of the best from my experience.

Both have a wide selection of knives and some of the best prices on the net.
 
I've used TheBladeShop for about 5 or 6 times over the past two months... helped to exchange / refund item I had a problem with... no probs with shipping or tracking... Eddie is an honest guy, will give his opinion on all sorts of stuff, doesn't try to upsell or sell you something just to make a higher margin... supercool to talk shop with... :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: 5 Thumbs Up!!!

New Graham is excellent. Ordered several from them. Good prices. Prompt service.

If you are looking for bigger-name middle market brands (e.g., Buck, Kershaw, Cold Steel, Gerber, SOG, Ka Bar, etc.) check out Midsouth Shooter's Supply.

They don't have a very large selection, but what they have is DIRT CHEAP. For the stuff they carry, they will probably be cheaper than any online shop. Cheaper than Wal-Mart for where they overlap.

Are you trying to say thebladeshop used to be good, or that they can't handle holiday shopping levels or just that they've had problems for years now?
