You have storage for 40 messages at a time. If you let your mailbox fill up new messages will bounce and you'll get a message telling you your mailbox is full and a message bounced. Then when you delete some old messages you will get the one that bounced, so you won't lose a message; it just gets delayed.
As long as you keep deleting messages and never let your mailbox get full you can receive an unlimited number of messages.
You can easily copy messages to a file on your own computer before deleting them, so you can archive messages -- just not on the Bladeforums servers.
