Gold membership renewal question

Since the new format came into play last year I have stopped coming here due to the difficulty of navigating the site. Now the gas peddle is on the left, and brake is on the steering column, and the steering wheel has been replaced with a button.. Ha, but i had to make the comparison to the old V bulletin format.
Finding forums is almost impossible; for example finding political arena as one, or some way to easily find 'recent posts' without having to dig deep into my profile. Off the rant now. I was going to let my membership lapse, but decided to renew for another year. I have been searching the instructions for the past hour and a half, and there is nothing I can find about membership renewal instruction in 'help'. How do I get to where I can pay for renewal? They say click on 'my profile', so i did that, but where is that settings tab, and then where the heck do i go to? Its these things that wear me down to the point of leaving and moving on to other things. I am using W10 on a laptop.

At the top of this screen, hover (don't click) your mouse pointer over the down arrow next to "Paid Subscriptions". A drop down menu will appear. Click on "Paid Subscriptions". Maybe there are other ways, but that works for me.
